This old cedar/epoxy canoe was completely restored by first repairing the rotten internal stems and filling old screw holes where gunwales were attached. New gunwales, decks, and external stems were added, the hull sanded and patched in places followed by several new coats of varnish.

This wood/epoxy kayak had to be abandoned in rough water by the paddler. The boat blew onto shore before Search and Rescue could find it. The crack in the hull was sanded down and patched with several layers of fiberglass before being sanded and painted. The kayak is stronger than it ever was and the paddler is back playing in the surf.
