We also build wooden canoes as display models for individuals and businesses. We do not, however, design or sell plans for canoes as there are many established and proven designs available. Features on all standard custom wood strip canoes include:
- 1/4″ cedar strip stapleless construction
- 6 oz. fiberglass layer set in epoxy (inside and outside)
- solid hardwood decks
- two cane seats
- center contoured carrying yoke
- hardwood gunwales with scuppers
- Minimum 4 coats marine UV varnish
